Anonymous Agreement Module

Want to provide information, statistics, data and etc, but would like the visitor to agree not to ....  Then wildAgreement is for you!  This module allows you to request that a visitor to your site, either anonymous or registered, agree to certain conditions before you give them access to the pages that you have protected.

Yes, it is easy to restrict access to registered users, but what if your site doesn't allow registrations or your visitor would prefer not to register?  The wildAgreement module will give you the flexibility to provide the information and at the same time putting restrictions on the use of that information.

The features of the wildAgreement module:

  • single or multiple agreements (i.e. one for viewers, and one for contributors)
  • historical agreements are kept on file
  • existing agreement can be used to create a new agreement
  • agreement for anonymous visitors stored in a cookie so they don't have to agree each time
  • agreement for registered users store in database and a cookie
  • can force the visitor to re-agree, if the terms of your agreement have changed
  • when they accept the agreement, they are sent back to the requesting page
  • if they decline, you can send them to any page on your site
    • for example: a hidden Decline page which explains why you require their agreement
  • for registered users, the database contains their current agreement and the original agreement

The Agreement could also be a License or Disclaimer.
