Hi,

We decided to use the highslide feature to add a slideshow to a site.

The photos are not uniform in size.

Because the 'images only' feature did not let the photos vary in hieght, we changed the template so the portfolio view will allow the vertical size to vary as needed. We got rid of the table and used a simple one-line div.

We sized the photos to be the same width.

The display is fine, some photos are 100x67, others are 600x150. We get a thumbnail view with varying height photos, just like we want.

However, in the template, we can't figure out the highslide link format. We've tried building our own link using the existing tokens, but to no avail.

Is there a way to do this?

The token for the image is [HIGHIMAGE]. The documentation does need some updating. :(

Here I am asking another question.:)

What I'm really trying to accomplish is a single image that rotates through the images and has links at the bottom (ala MSN). I know the module doesn't do auto-slideshows, replacing the single image display with a timer to display the next.

But for now, I trying to make a slideshow that has the description below the highslide image after it displays. I would like to include a link that allows them to jump to a different page.

I modified the template for highslide, but after trying several configurations of the link, I've been unsuccessful. Here's what I have as a start:

<center><strong>[TITLETEXT]</strong></center><br />
<a href="[URL]">[BRIEFTEXT]</a>

Simple, yet very uneffective!!!!:(

Is this what you were trying to achieve?

http://www.casson.ca/Photos/tabid/208/Default.aspx

I put the following in the Highslide Caption:

<center><strong>[TITLETEXT]</strong></center><br /><a href="[URL]" target="_blank">[FULLTEXT]</a><br />Photo by: [AUTHORTEXT],  [DATETEXT]

Which version are you running?

Yep, except i'm trying to stay on the same site by using the page link instead of URL.

1.04.04

We did set it up to an external address and it worked fine. It seems the problem is when it is trying to link to a Page on the site.

Hi Bruce, I'm running v1.04.01, and at the time I believe you had just added Highslide capability, and I think I remember you saying templates were not supported when using the Highslide option. Looks like you now support templates, is this included in the newest version available for download?

Thanks-
