I can't figure out how to install both portfolio modules?
can someone give me a step by step account how to do it???
What I have tried:
1. loggin in as host
2. go to Module definitions
3. select upload new module
4. choose the zip file
5. click add file
6 .... nothing happens, then redirects back to module list?
or I just upload the modules unzipped into the desktopmodules directory?
I just dont get it? help ...
Please help me.

sorry ... i am running 4.0.2 on ASP 2.0.5?
I am using a custom skin, would this be affecting it? |

ok, i changed the custom container to the default container and it almost made it except for this:

It appears that you are getting a security violation when trying to do the install.
To set the security, you need to set access to the DNN root directory.
If using Windows 2000 - IIS5
- the {Server}/ASPNET user account must have Read, Write, and Change Control of the root application directory ( this allows the application to create files/folders )
If using Windows 2003 - IIS6
- the {Server}/NetworkService user account must have Read, Write, and Change Control of the root application directory ( this allows the application to create files/folders )
If the above has been done and it still doesn't work, then check the web.config file to see if the trust level has been set to the lowest level. It needs to be medium or higher. |
