Hi Bruce,
I've had the portfolio running fine on my site for a long time, but a few days ago I added it to a child portal and gave edit access to one of my users. The user was unable to do anything past creating the first entry. All further steps would lead to being logged out.
The symptoms were that the Host account works fine, the same module on the parent portal continued to work fine, entries without images mostly worked, but when an image was added, the logouts became persistent.
After much messing around I realised that it just wasn't working in the child portal, and if I changed to a parent portal by giving it a domain and matching alias, the module worked fine again.
That pretty much sums it up - logout issue in child portals.
My system is at DNN 4.90 and the Portfolio is 1.43
It sounds similar to what is happening in the other thread titled "Can't Edit anything (or add/delete)" but I don't get any error messages in the event log like they do.

p.s. Beg beg: What can I do to get you to allow authors to delete their images? It it simply not possible? |

I'm sending you an updated version of the module by email. Can you give it a try and let me know if it resolves the Child Portal editing issue?
It is the time of year that I'm susceptible to begging ;) I'll see what can be done! |

Hi Bruce,
I've upgraded my portal system to DNN 4.9.2 and thought I'd try the portfolio again to see if it's still doing this and I'm afraid it still is. Basically, it only works on childportals properly when used from my host account. For non-host accounts, it only works when a domain is pointed at the portal.
