This is a nice looking product, except I am having a serious problem with one thing. Most of the pictures I need to upload are taller than they are wide. In the image format section, it doesn't matter whether I use "Crop Image" or "Fill Space", the full size images are cropped vertically every time. The thumbnails are fine, just the full size images get cropped.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this the way it is? If this is the way it works, I simply will not be able to use this product.

The way the module works is as follows:

If you check Crop, then any image that is uploaded after that will be uploaded under the following procedure. The smallest dimension is expanded or contracted to fit in its corresponding dimension. The larger dimension is cropped to fit its dimension.

If you check Fill, then any image that is uploaded after that will be uploaded under the following procedure. The largest dimension is expanded or contracted to fit in its corresponding dimension. The smaller dimension is then centered in its space and the empty space is filled with a white background or if there is a hex rgb color specified in BGColor setting then that color is used as the background fill.

After discussing this in email with Bruce, I verified once more that I was in "Fill" mode, deleted the image, uploaded it again, and it ewas cropped vertically. So I deleted the project, the image, and the module and added the module again. I set the mode to "Fill" and uploaded the same image. This time it was not cropped. I deleted everything again and tried to go through the motions of my first session to recreate the incident, but it worked flawlessly no matter what I did.

I don't know what happened that first time, and I will experiment more as time permits, but this module works great now and I'm very happy with it. I also want to thank Bruce for excellent support. He jumped on it right away and helped me get going. I'm off now to create some Intranet pages with wildPortfolio.
