I'm a developer at a major medical center working on the transplant team. I'm using DNN 4.4.1 to develop a site where patients and their physicians can track their medications, lab results, immunosuppressant data etc. The physicians would like to be able to upload pictures (drawings and/or photos) of various procedures or conditions to this site but only have them accessed by themselves and/or the representative patient.

In order to do this I would like to use a "patientKey" that I'm storing in the session object (that's how I'm able to query the rest of the information) to identify which picture belongs to which patient. It is imperative that only those patients have access to only their photos and drawings (major HIPPA violation if this is not accomplished).

Can Wild Modules be able to fulfill this need?

Thanks,

Chip

First, the Session Object is available to DNN. With a couple of small modificatons to the code, the wildPortfolio module could to the job.

Either an existing field or a new field could be added to hold the PatientID. When the information is being entered, then the Doctor/Editor could select the appropriate patient (by name). When the information is displayed, the currently logged in person's ID could be validated against the PatientId field OR an SQL stored procedure could be added to only select on that person's ID.
