I am creating a portfolio and at present have only 1 project in it. I notice that IE6 "correctly" disables Prev 1 Next whereas FireFox wrongly leaves them enabled. Is this a Wildportfolio problem or a Firefox bug please? (You can see the site in construction showing the problem at: www.stodden.org/Villages. View the Pertenhall Page) John B |

I guess to some extent we should thank Microsoft and the Visual Studio team for this 'feature'. In the module I set the enable property for the hyperlink to disabled (like this: hyperlink.enable=False), in Internet Explorer as you indicated it works, you would think that this would be not be converted, but Microsoft sets the property like this 'disabled="disabled"'. Firefox and other mozilla browsers are looking for the value to be 'disabled="True"'. In the next update, I will set the visibility for the hyperlink to false that works, as you can see on this site (made the change and re-loaded the module). The problem still exists with the numbers, but these disabled hyperlinks in Firefox don't go anywhere, and better yet they don't cause the page to refresh when clicked. I'm open to suggestions on this one, but for now I will leave the numbers as is, which means that the portfolio page that you are on will still get an underline when you mouse over it. In the next update, the 'next' and/or 'prev' links will be invisible if there isn't page after and/or before, if that is okay? |
